Eight years ago, the Yun clan was escorting a dangerous imperial treasure and was attacked by an evil entity. The clan head, his eldest son and many clan warriors were killed. Only the youngest son, Yun Feixue, survived. Wandering in the darkness of the forest, he found himself in a strange place. There he encountered the spirit of a black dragon, chained by the chains of divine punishment. The boy was possessed by a dark spirit which had been parasitising within him for many years, attempting to murder his soul and possess his body. Having suppressed the evil spirit, Yun Feixue became stronger. As an adult, he formed a secret organization of spies and assassins called The Shadow. With the help of his men, he has picked up the trail of those behind the attack on the Yun clan eight years ago.
